About us<\/h2>\n

Avicena was established in 2013 by a team of professionals motivated by universal human values, with a strong commitment to health and social equity.<\/p>\n

Our name is inspired by the legacy of Avicenna (Ibn Sina) an influential 10th century Persian philosopher and doctor. With his research into metaphysics, logic, physics and medicine, he revolutionised observation, experimentation and logical reasoning. His contributions transformed the scientific knowledge of the time, contributing to medical advances and laying the foundations for public health as we know it.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n

We devote our heads and our hearts to each project, to improve people\u2019s lives.<\/p>\n

Since its creation, Avicena has evolved from being a company focused on health and social issues in the Maghreb region, to having an international standing, with presence in Spain, Morocco and Colombia.<\/p>\n
