Organisational development and support for the management of the social enterprise Al Nour

Avicena worked with Al Nour, an artisanal embroidery enterprise founded in 2013 in Marrakesh (Morocco) that provides opportunities to women artisans with disabilities. The enterprise offers them permanent support with optimal, barrier-free work conditions and full social protection, including contributions to the national insurance scheme, medical insurance, pension, continuous training, childcare, accessible transportation, canteen, and psychosocial support.

Avicena’s role consisted in improving the company’s performance, updating its structure and management model, keeping its social approach and increasing efficiency. To achieve this, new IT solutions were integrated to optimise the management of processes, logistics and finances. In addition, internal communication and governance were structured so as to strengthen the team and consolidate the company’s vision as a social company.

Avicena also reviewed human resources development strategies and selection and recruitment procedures, providing continuous support to the management team and the owners of the enterprise.
